Requirements:<ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or a relevant specialty.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Active and unrestricted medical license in the state(s) where services will be rendered.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience in hospital medicine, long-term care, or geriatric medicine is highly desirable.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Strong clinical acumen, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions effectively.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Empathy, compassion, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Willingness to travel to multiple locations and sites as needed.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Flexibility to work full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules based on facility needs and personal preferences.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Provide comprehensive medical care to a caseload of 15 to 20 patients per day, which includes managing complex medical conditions, chronic illnesses, and acute exacerbations.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Handle an average of 5 to 6 patient admissions per day, ensuring timely and accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Conduct regular patient rounds, assess progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Perform thorough medical evaluations, diagnostic tests, and order appropriate interventions.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ensure timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and other necessary medical records in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Participate in care conferences and family meetings to discuss patient care plans and address any concerns or questions.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Provide guidance and education to nursing staff, caregivers, and families regarding patient care, medication management, and health promotion strategies.</li></ul>
